The brief
A surfer's first tattoo, with one condition: it had to look like water, not like a picture of water. Wren drew a single continuous swell that wraps the forearm a full turn — no start, no end, readable from every angle.
Wrap pieces are geometry problems. The stencil was mapped with the arm flexed and extended so the line never kinks at the wrist, and the whole piece was lined in one pass to keep the weight identical throughout.
